It is very known that in the case of Hornby-Rivarossi-Jouef-Lima holding everything is possible. So, why mention Jouef within the Italian model railways? Very safe packaging:
First the cardboard:
Then the plastic cover:
Vacuum molded protection:
and finally the model with vinyl foil protection.
The tarpaulin is removable, and very slightly weathered.
And then the surprise: Rivarossi cast label!
We can conclude that there is a lot of Italian brands Rivarossi Rils wagons (San Pellegrino etc.), but since the Vittel, Contrex etc. are the French brands, they are sold in JOUEF boxes.
The cars no longer have much to do with Italy apart from the manufacturer's name. The design plans are drawn up at Hornby in the UK and production then takes place in China. Many of the cars are offered under the various brands of the Hornby Group, which also makes sense from an economic point of view. (Electrotren, Jouef, Lima, Rivarossi)
The packaging is not bad and protects the models well. Furthermore, the new constructions are very well made and the handles etc. are very stable for the fineness and hold well. There are other manufacturers where the handles fly off just by looking at them.
