Hello my friends!!! I haven't read anything relative so here goes my question! Has anybody convertred G motor locos to DCC? Which decoder is used and why? Any specificate settings?
Hello Martin! So am I but in a Limaista's friend's question, what's better from an analogue Lima loco,I answered a DCC Lima loco!!! I saw in you tube a small clip where a nice dude in Germany, placed a C-digital decoder in a Fleischmann pancake motor loco and playing with frequency (Hz) he made it move insanly slow... I think the same thing must work with Lima G's...
Almost every decoder can do his job with the G-Motor. I´m using ESU. It runs quite good with tuning the CVs. As I heard, ZIMO should be best, but this decoders are rather hard to adjust to any motor without the Zimo-Programmer. ESU has an onboard-autoadjust. I don´t know other decoders.
This guy is amazing (or is it the decoders...???) His name in youtube is H M (I hope he is not Madonna...!!!) Unfortunately for me,every single word is in German...
saw the vids. Locos ran well but decoders have too less functions for me. No sounddecoders available. The C-digital system was sold by Conrad-Elektronik in the 90s. I think this is a dead-end-system now.
