the model itself was a good choice for Lima, as it was one of the most modern US-locomotives in the early 70's. Originally, the Santa Fe FP45's were red and silver with yellow lines (so called "war-bonnet" scheme). When Amtrak took over passenger operation in 1971, these engines were to be repainted in blue/yellow and moved to the freight fleet. So, the Lima blue paint scheme is basically prototypical for a very short period of time. The yellow fronts and the style of the words "Santa Fe" on the sides are wrong.
