here we go in this new sub forum for the really antique stuff from Vicenza. The very first locomotive Lima made in the 1950's was the legendary engine Z936 (catalogue number 2001). It had a unique 2-A (American 4-2-0 / French 210) wheel arrangement with two disc wheels in a bogie and one powered driving axle. This loco was far from what we call prototypical, although, it can be easily recognized as a steamer by its black boiler, the chimney and the rear driver's cab. The wheel flanges were rather big (more similar to older Trix products). It was sold with or without tender.
Here is the version without tender, the difference to the model above are the silver driving rods.
And the separate sale tender (catalogue no. 2014), it came in two versions, one (pictured) with black frame, but there was another one with a red frame available, too.
you're right, 1800 is sort of a running number in my collection. Sometimes I didn't know the catalogue number when I received certain models. In this case those models received a fictional number in my collection to keep the pictures aligned . Will change this shortly.
