Thank's again Martin!

OK,time for some explanation...
I have a book with model railway electronics!
I read a project about rheostat transfo (5020 52 and 53)
As you may see from the voltmeter, the rheostat transfo starts giving voltage from 17 volts(!!!) till 19.36 on full throtle for this transfo...
That may be OK for G motors? I really have not yet tryed it on a loco...
What book sayed was rheostat transfos cause jerky starts on locos.
The solution was to replace the rheostat with some transistors and actually make it an electronic regulation transfo!!!
Just like the big transfo 602060 (or else, the one at Museller's fantastic start set)
My 2052 now starts from less than one volt an can drive a can motor Nova V 20 superbly on sunting speeds, where the 2053 rheostat makes it start fast...
I think that when can motors from Nova line replaced the G's,typicall rheotransfos, could not drive them correctly, thus the need of a new transfo?(602060)
Otherwise,I believe that Lima engineers knew exactly what they did with rheotransfos and G motors.
They matched perfectly.
Mknpaa,(susumotor guy) verifies that kind of voltage on rheotransfos. They are good for G motors but not for cd motors.

Here's another COMELIT. A plug in transformer and separate controller. Nowadays this type of controller can be found in most analogue starter packs of any brand.

This is the set it came in, a little green Alco steamer (rare by itself) and two (!) CIWL restaurant coaches along with ballasted tracks.

Two more transformers from my collection:

6604US - Made in Hongkong, Input 120V, USA

5107JP - Made in Japan by Nishizawa Kogyo, input 100V, Japan (US-style plug)

Nice weekend,

Martin

Einen habe ich noch...

Another one to add...

2059B als Silberpfeil mit Folie beklebt

2059B diguised as silverfish

In Katalogen habe ich kein Vorbildfoto gefunden. Quelle-Versand/GoodPlay?
I didn´t find this transfo in a catalogue. Maybe Quelle-Versand/GoodPlay?

I've seen this around on ebay.
Looks very familiar with Fleischmann...
Looks like Buhler supplied both brands in Germany?

Hello,

I found the little brother of the big silverfish Transfo 2059B. Here is 2057B:
